Enrollment The Teacher Training Program requires attendance at both the Spring and Fall Formal Lecture Series. Students will also be required to complete the Internship and pass exams before receiving their certificate of completion. There are 900 total hours required to complete the program. Upon completion, students may sit for the PMA Pilates Certification Examination. Performing Arts of Spring Grove provides dance instruction for ages 3 to adult. The studio offers classes in ballet from pre-ballet to preprofessional, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, hip-hop, stretch and pilates. Performing Arts of Spring Grove is also the home of Illinois Youth Dance Theatre, Inc. a non-profit dance company committed to the art of dance.
The Midwest College offers accredited programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine that lead to licensed practice in Illinois, Wisconsin and over 30 other states. Both programs have a strong foundation in TCM theory and acupuncture techniques. The Oriental Medicine program also includes Chinese herbs and a special emphasis on nutrition and healing with whole foods. Classroom lectures are put into practice in the College's busy student clinic. Financial Aid is available for students who qualify.
Rev. Martina Schmidt is a Registered Nurse, Minister, Spiritual Medium, & Certified Advanced Energy Healer. She is a published author and teaches courses in Spiritual Growth, Psychic Development, Mediumship Programs, Ministerial Triaining & Advanced Energy Healing.
